I love the person that I've grown into during my time in the program. It has provided a welcoming environment for me to explore my own identities in relation to Blackness and has pushed me to lean into my unique perspective throughout my time here.

The Black Studies minor has provided me with an academic and intellectual context for understanding and reflecting on what is happening today. I have a perspective now that I would otherwise have been unable to attain without the breadth of resources, experience, and knowledge of the faculty and my fellow students.
